Where Lake Conway welcomes the world back.
On ~10.3 acres of peninsula shoreline at the Highway 89 gateway into Mayflower, the Holt/Dunaway family — stewards of this land for generations — is partnering with the City of Mayflower, state leadership, and the Arkansas hospitality community to build a new kind of destination: a public boat ramp, welcome center, and day-use park beside a family-owned resort of lakeside cabins, an RV retreat, the revived Hi-Way Snack Bar café, and an event pavilion — timed to open as Arkansas completes its historic renovation of Lake Conway.
Projects like this don't happen alone. These are the people bringing the Landing to life — each one part of its story.
Stewards of this shoreline for generations, carrying forward the legacy of Walter Dunaway, twelve-year mayor of Conway.
Third-generation family member leading the development, partnerships, and day-to-day build.
Sponsoring the project's feasibility study and shaping the public partnership that opens the gateway.
Championing the project's alignment with the State's historic investment in Lake Conway.
Connecting the project to Arkansas's hospitality industry, operators, and tourism channels.
Crafting the destination story that will carry the Landing across Arkansas and beyond.
Rebuilding Lake Conway into one of America's premier fisheries — and the reason the timing is now.
Every great place has a record of the people who built it. This is ours.
Post an update, mark a milestone, or simply check in — your name becomes part of the Landing's story, in front of everyone building it with you.
